Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums and don't know if this has been discussed yet. Most times when I try to run the game (RCT2) I get this error code: exceptions raised- access violation error location. windows unknown driver. I have tried changing the compatability mode to windows xp (I have vista). I have played this game for almost a year with no problems until now. Also, occasionally when I play the pause button randomly starts flashing so my games keeps starting and stopping and I have to completely exit out of the game. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Your first issue is that your OS is Vista, take my advice and upgrade if you can lol. I struggled with Vista for the longest time and I have to say it is complete c**p to work with. The other issue (game related) that I can think of is that maybe your disk is going (breaking)? Mine had similar issues when it started going, although mine gave the exceptions randomly while playing and not while loading up.

It should run fine on Windows 7. My RCT2 disc isn't in perfect condition, but I've never had any problems with it on that operating system.

My Vista had problems with literally everything, including booting up (it had worked perfectly fine with Windows prior to upgrading to Vista). So personally it left a terrible taste in my mouth. I'd check the disk though, you'd be surprised how much damage a single scratch can do.
