Occasionally changes are made to RCTgo to add or improve functionality that aren't significant enough to formally announce. This thread will be used to announce and discuss these small changes.

Yesterday, URLs for download pages were changed to include the download name in the URL.

As an example, Terry Inferno's Legend of the Lake used to have this URL:
https://rctgo.com/downloads/view/16865

The URL to that page is now this:
https://rctgo.com/downloads/view/legend-of-the-lake.16865

The old format will continue to work and is automatically redirected to the new URL. This change will be rolled out to video pages as well in the near future.

One small bug was already discovered as a result of this change, so if you notice anything strange with download pages, please be sure to bring the issue to my attention. Thanks!

Well now if we share URLs for our downloads off this site when people click on the URL they'll know exactly what they're getting
