Colision Detection

#1
The games unrealistic colision detection on the scenery pieces is really beginning to annoy me now. Anyone figured out a way to get around it? For example, I want to place walls down the middle of double wide paths, as well as seats and bins. I also want to be able to intersect wall's, flowers and trees with rollercoaster track.

Endless hours of searching for options.txt modifications as well as cheat codes has turned up nothing. I've seen other peeps do it... And want to know how!

I've already got the track intersect option enabled, but it only appears to allow tracks from rides intersect each other, not scenery and paths too...

Anyone?

Rename a peep M Brookes to build walls on paths. To get them in the middle can be trickier... but then it would look like the peeps are walking through walls, so I don't know why you would want to do that...

To get seats and bins in the middle of paths, delete one of the path tiles then place the object where you want it. If you then put the path tile back after you've placed the object, it will be in the middle of the path.

This doesn't let you build back to back benches and stuff though, but there is a way around it: build two path tiles next to each other, then lower or raise the ground on one of them so that it is at a different height to the other. Place the objects on the edge of both path tiles, then bring the ground back to the same height again.

If this is too confusing then hopefully someone will explain it better, preferably with pictures...

Voodhin had an excellent tutorial for placing the benches and bins. I think there might also be a great one on the RCT3X home page. (It may be Voodhins) Add these cheats to your option.txt --> http://www.rct3x.net/beelitz/txt_cheats.txt
