I hate to say this, but im totally devastated.......My Kahuna file is corrupt it says "THE PARAMETER IS INCORRECT" ive tried everything to no avail:twisted: Ive got it stored on another disk, but it hasnt got all my new stuff on itFrown And i simply just cant try and do it over again......i refuse to.So i guess its the end of Kahuna......and the Medway is somewhat dated.I guess im gonna stick to doing smaller things now.....

Quote:Your park file got corrupted. You lost ALL your work!! No, you didn't. There IS a way, and the game is your savior.

To salvage it, do the following:
Open "My Documents/RCT 3/Parks"
Locate the park file name, you will see TWO files
They are: "MyPark.dat" and My Park.dat.bak"
In this order re-name the "My Park.dat" to My Park.old"
Now with the other "My Park.dat.bak" remove the .bak and you are set.

As a note, remember, when you choose to save, do NOT click save until the files are done scanning. Doing so before is the MOST common cause, but there are other ways as well.

any use?

.bak files are quite useful but very dated on saving
