How about being able to lay out a few sections of flat track, then be given the ability to twist the end into a banked turn? I always thought that the short track section that goes into a banked turn was way too short. If it was longer, and more gradual, I think that would help the realisim.
Plus, if you could simply drag the end of a track upwards or down, you could create drops and climbs however you like.
Another idea would be that each track section would have the train's speed, like a height marker, would be cool. Then you can figure out what to set trim brakes & block brakes settings at while building, instead of all those graphic displays. This would also tell you that a hill may be too high and the train would slow to a stop & reverse direction, before it passes over the crest of a hill. Takes out all that wasted time of testing the track over & over again.
It would also help to have some sort of "banked turn" meter. Lets see if I could discribe it...
As you enter a banked turn, you can twist the curve to be slightly banked or really banked. If there was a sort of "meter" that could tell you if you've banked too much, or not enough, would definatly help.
Bring the boosters back! And the launched lift hills! The only way to design a track with them, is design it in RCT 2 and import them into RCT 3.
