I wanted to make a Pirates of the Caribbean Style ride like the one in the link above but i dont have any idea how too, where to start? Any advice or help would be appreciated

Choose the water ride for startes which you wish to use. Then place buildings over the top of with scenery inside.

Try and be unquie and think about what you would like it to be if it was real, i.e. if you were actually on the ride how you would feel.

Make it thrilling, and interact the ride with scenery
