Just to keep the peeps informed with events at Thorpe park of late, it has been confirmed that Thorpe have submitted planning permission for their 2009 coaster, it will be a Gerstlauer Eurofighter (Speed, Rage, Mystery Mine) It will have the traditional vertical hill followed by a 97 degree drop towering at 30 metres, which is about the same height as Colossus, it will also include a Zero G Roll, an immelman, high bank turn and a diving loop, not necasarily in that order, it will placed in Canada Creek on the newly infilled Island currently behind the Samurai, it will also be HEAVILY themed.Keep posted for more details....

Looking decent! Atleast thorpe are getting a coaster unlike alton towers

Its certainly getting better, but its a whole nutha year to wait doh!!

More info on this project, Runnymede council have granted planning permission for the 2009 coaster....construction begins in May...i shall keep you posted on events.
