I don't particularly know the answers to your question, but welcome to RCT3X! You could try searching Google for "'Creating custom scenery' for RCT3", or on here or the RCT3 section of the Atari Community Forums. I'm sure you'll find a tutorial =D.

It takes a great deal of patiance and allot of Hits and missis with CS.

Theres rules to keep in mind when making CS and if you get fustraighted easy I wouldnt advise it.

You Need a 3D modeling Program, Allot of peaple use Google Sketchup. Its free, Easy To use and theres been created plugins to show sizes for RCT but be aware you cant create advanced models as you could say with maya or 3d studio max.

Tutourials for Google Sketchup can be found all at one site. Along with what you need to use and the downloads for the imprter etc HERE

One major rule in CS making is the polygons must be no more then 500 for any one model if your releasing it. Ive created models over that that do work but most will complian that it will add to the lag.

Another biggy peeps seem to moan about is making sure the set would be worthwile. There wouldnt be much point in making say a squre logo set as you could just use a billbaord.

As i said its time consuming and can be very fustraighting. So good luck and hope that helps
