Many years ago I used to play RCT 1&2. I recently got the boxed version of RCT3 Platinum with the Wild and Soaked expansion packs. I have a couple of questions after just getting started with the program.

1) Is there any way to run RCT3 without having the disk inserted? I seem to remember there was a way around this in the earlier versions.

2) Are there any patches that I need to download (and from where?) to supplement this boxed version of RCT3?

I'm running under Vista Home Premium.

Yes, you do not need patches for Plantinum because it has all of the patches.

I only just started my first game and was wondering about patches etc. I bought this game years ago and it was so full of bugs I threw it in the bin. Just rediscovering it and bought the platinum box set with all three games.

If you have a Windows 7 computer without a disk drive, install it with a usb disc drive, and BAM! Rct3 is installed without using a disc. This may work on other versions of windows also.
