I just recently installed my RCT3 Platinum on my computer again and for some reason it won't work. When I click on the Panda, it does start up, showing the first screen. The white one with the copyright page (I think). It's the first screen it shows. Then it turns black and closes it, telling me to send an error report to microsoft.
I have tried re-installing it a few times. I've restarted my computer. I've tried cleaning my disc too.

Weird thing though... after I did install it for the first time, it played completely. Except there wasn't any sound. So I closed it and fixed my sound system and that's when it all went hay-wire.
The problem with my sound was that my mixer shut down so I had to restart it.

I've found out that it does work, without sound. And by this, I would have to turn off my whole sound system on my computer by going to [run->services.msc] then going down to [Windows Audio] and clicking [Stop the Service] and I run RCT3 and it works perfectly. Just that there isn't any sound.
Once the game is running and I turn it back on, there still isn't any sound coming out.
Also, if I try to start the game with my sound off, then in the middle, where it shows all the company logos, I turn my sound on, it crashes and has to send an error report.
Can someone tell me what to do? So I can play the game WITH sound?
I also have checked the game options and the sound is all the way up.

I'm having a similar issue without the error. But, this makes me think that it may be an audio driver problem for both of us. I'd try updating your audio drivers on your PC.
