Hello Everybody!

#1
Well hey everyone! I have been addicted to roller coasters ever since I got the original RCT game back when I was 6 or 7 (I am turning 17 this summer). I am hoping to have a career in coasters, (my dream is a designer, but I know that is quite a hard job to get). Anyway, I have RCT1 Deluxe, RCT3 Platinum, and No Limits. I will be posting some RCT3 stuff over here when I can, and when the No Limits forums finally decide to review my registration application, I will be posting No Limits stuff over there (same username).

Sounds awesome! If you want a career in roller coasters you should major in Engineering, any Engineering major will do XD hahaha, well I'm not really sure what Intamin or B&M usually contract but I'm guessing Mechanical, Software (if you want to program the computers that will run the roller coaster), Civil and maybe Electrical.... but if you want to be a designer it's probably going to bee Mechanical. Visit their website and see if they have any job offers, read them and figure out what they are looking for Wink

BTW, be prepared to study a lot! Any Engineering major is not easy at all! (but it pays off)

That is exactly what I am doing. I am working towards a mechanical engineering degree. I can't work for them yet because I am not even done with college (or even done with my basic classes. I am in my first year right now). But working for B&M is definitely my dream, with Intamin coming in second.

Btw, anyone who also uses RCTLounge, I can also be found over there with the same username Smile

Yeah I know, I was just saying that by checking out their job offers you could have an idea of what they are looking for and see if you are on the right track.
Mechanical Engineering was my second option but my first was Aerospace and that's what I'm doing right now. I have always said, the only thing more intense than a roller coaster is an aircraft (not any aircraft, just fighters) LOL.

Ah. My neighbor got his degree in Aerospace Engineering. He worked for NASA (not doing space shuttles or anything, but it was a job at NASA nonetheless). I'm not sure if he still is though because they moved away.
