I bought a wii and it just sits here because we don't know anything about it. Can someone tell me how to hook it up to my pc/internet. Also, how can I download games and play them on the wii. And is there anything else that I can do with my wii, besides just playing store-bought games.

To download games, go to the Wii Shop channel, and you need to buy Wii points in order to get them. On the main menu, or the Wii menu, go to the bottom left and find the options menu, then find your way until you get the internet options, and connect it to a wireless network. If you bought a game, or it came with the Wii, put the disk in with the title side facing right when the Wii is vertical, or up when it is laying horizontal. Then in the top left corner in the little square, hover your pointer over it and press the little round button under the arrow pad, or the A button. Then it will have a screen about how to handle the WiiMote and safety precautions, and then you press a again anywhere. There will then be a screen with the title of the game and it will tell you to press A and B. This means to press the A button and the B button. The B button is located on the back of the WiiMote, and I tell people to remember it as "B for Back". Then you are ready to play!
