Editing doesn't make all the difference. It's mostly realism and depth.

I like the lighter colors better. Should I just make the fireworks darker?

The whole thing is darker to look like real metal. No, you don't have to do anything to it, I just wanted to see what I could do with it .

Then should I make the words darker and keep the fireworks?
