The RollerCoaster Tycoon Movie?!

#1
I was VERY surprised when I heard they were planning on making a movie for the franchise! Here is the link: http://www.slashfilm.com/sony-readies-a-...daptation/ You can also look up more news here: https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp=les...80&bih=685

For some reason I get the feeling that in the end, this film will never happen. Even if it does I get the feeling that it is not going to go very well. However, I could be wrong, if they work hard enough it could be an epic movie, but I highly doubt that.

Over two years ago. I'm pretty sure that this will not happen

Yer when I saw the date I had the feeling that yer, it's old news, won't be happening. So I went on wikipedia to see if it still said it on there and it did, but it probably hasn't been updated, who knows. I think I remember reading about it being cancelled but it might have been something else. I kinda hope it doesn't happen anyway

Ok, Just making sure you knew. I wouldn't want it to happen anyway. The only way I would watch it is if it wasn't so much about a game, but a person who builds a theme park from the ground up, and it ends with a fire or something ruining all of his work, along with another person coming along to rebuild it into something else.

Or something along those lines.

I don't even know how they would make it. Would it be animated?

Or like a movie about the timeline of a park. Whoa what if you presented your park in a thread with only videos? OMG I just thought of an idea.

It said it was a live action, cgi hybrid. Meaning there are real characters, but 3d animations to represent the rides, atmosphere, landscape. Though some if not most parts would possibly be in a real park.
