I’ve also noticed that if left to their own devices, guests hardly buy food or drinks. I recently changed this in scenario editor but that wasn’t long enough ago to see if it worked. Although I haven’t tried it yet I also understand it’s possible to increase guest hunger and thirst with Peep Factory.

Are the prices too high? Once I was playing RCT2 and they kept saying "I need to use the restroom" all the time and I had so many that were opened but they would use them. Then I realized that they all costed $5.

No, there aren't any prices. I'm in sandbox and everything's free. There are plenty of toppings in all the stalls where I can adjust the toppings.

I had that same problem with restrooms in RCT2.

Well first of all, are people actually hungry/thirsty? Since you said you downloaded it, maybe there are a few bugs, I don't know because I don't have any experience with downloading games. If it is a problem you could always buy it because they are cheap now

Shortly after I changed this in scenario editor I removed the guests and have been developing my park since. Encouraging to hear this suggestion from someone else.
