Long Time RCT Player

#1
Hey guys, I'm Heather. I'm sixteen and I've been obsessed with RCT since I was six when I got RCT1 for Christmas. My dream is to go to MIT to study mechanical engineering and become a professional roller coaster designer. Smile I have some of my older designs on my you tube channel, if you've got a chance, take a look: youtube.com/topthrilldragsternut

I also play the bass clarinet and drums, I'm in the southeast Massachusetts district concert band, and my school's honors band & wind ensemble.

Looking forward to meeting you all Smile

It's cool to see someone actually make a career out of such a positive experience from a game. Really good to see. I hope you succeed in getting to MIT and obtaining that mechanical engineering degree. You'd be able to do much more than roller coaster design, that's for sure, but if this is your passion, I can't wait to see what you'd come up with.

I've been a long-time RCT player myself, but I'm much older than you. lol I'm in my early 40's, so the engineering dream for me is not a realistic one, but I am someone who shares a passion (like everyone else here) for artistic creation and it always amazes me to see just how creative so many people are. If the entire world expressed themselves through the power of positive creation instead of negativity, oh what a better place we'd all be in.

I hope you achieve your dream. You deserve it. How have your grades been in the sciences? If they're really good, they'll vastly improve your chances getting into MIT, or at least any engineering program that railroads you down the path you want the most.

Truer words were never spoken.

There are so many games out that are negative and destructive. RCT games are positive and constructive.

I haven't logged on since I posted this so I didn't see this until now but thank you so much! My grades in sciences have been A's. I am also doing AP physics this year. I'm working on jacking up my SAT score too.

Hello heather!
Thanks for joining us here on rctgo. I hope your experiences here at rctgo are... Uhhhhhh... Amazing? I think it's super cool that your pursuing degree in mechanical engineering. At first I wanted to do the same, but now I've strayed away to pursue my piloting dreams. When you design your first successful coaster, slap it on the forums so we can see.
Happy building/designing!

Most of us would like to spend most of the time playing computer games. It appears you have your priroties in order though, Heather. Congratulations on your great scores.

Hey thanks everyone! I'm still used to figuring out the mechanics of this forum haha, I'm active on another forum too so I'm more used to that.

I also have a website that I've been working on : http://www.heathervcoasterdesign.webs.com !
