After playing for a while the water stopped appearing and I can't figure out how to get it to come back. The water is still there and I can place rides but the water is invisible and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it.
My computer is a 2000, slightly old, but runs fine when playing RCT3. Also my RCT3 seems to be an older version or not updated to the ones I see in the videos so that may contribute the issue.

Do the ducks still fly to your water and sit on top of it? Are there mackerel still swimming around where the water should be? What does the water look like in your aquarium, especially at the top of the tanks? In the sea mammal shows are the dolphins and orca still swimming about as usual? Is the water visible where you have waterfalls? Does the water still show in your fountains? Do the fountains still operate as regular? Is there still water in your swimming pool? Are the guests still swimming in your pool? Are your graphics showing anything where the wave machines are making waves? How deep is the water where it has disappeared? Is the terrain at the bottom of your water flat or is it contoured? Has it disappeared and stayed disappeared or does it come back and disappear again from time to time? Does it disappear only when you zoom in or out or at other times too?

You can always download StationJim's Zoo Things 1 and use fake water. I do that when I build rides without terraforming. When you terraform, you have to put a park that includes the terrain map. Tracks, you can place anywhere because the scenery is build for a flat surface.

I would try that but my RCT3 does not have that stuff, no aquariums, well I do have ducks but I have never seen them land in the water. All I can do is place the water and build rides but it just annoys me that I can't see the water. Thanks for the help but if anyone has anymore suggestion that may help please reply.
Also the water when placed shows the terrain exactly as it was before I placed the water.
and it is invisible no matter what angle or zoom I look at it with. I have tried turning the all the graphics options all the way up.
While I don’t believe it would help in your case, could you provide this thread with some specs. Kindly post details of:
CPU
RAM
graphics card
root drive capacity, including how much space is now available
CD/DVD drive
And let us know if you have RCT3 Vanilla, RCT3 Soaked! or RCT3 Wild! ….. or if you have RCT2 (if so, which expansions) or RCT1 (if so, which expansions).
Also please let the person reading this thread after this post know if you had this game installed on another system and if you had that problem on the other system.
I’m afraid that until our members get more details in response to my previous post and in response to this post, no one’s going to be able to help you.
In which case I’d recommend you take AlexWohlbruck up on his suggestion and use fake water.
Take care.

I believe it is RCT3 Vanilla and like I said before I don't have fake water or waterfalls, all I have is lakes I can make. Although some info about my PC is 1.7GHZ pentium m cpu, 992mb of ram, basic intel board graphics, 40 GB hd 22GB free, and matshita ujda 760 cd/dvd drive.
This invisible problem normally occur due to graphic problems.
Try with installing the graphic card again to solve this issue.
