Your Favorite Florida Theme/Water Park

#1
Hi,

Ok, I have never been to Florida, although I do hope to someday. I went to a few websites and quite frankly I was shocked at how many theme/amusement/water parks there are (I live in Nebraska, so there really isn't anything barely close to an amusement park around here, sigh..). I can only post 10 options but there are plenty more parks than that, so if I didn't list one you can comment below. So, anyway, I wanted everyone's opinion on their favorite Florida theme park.Smile

Disney World (4 theme parks and 2 water parks)
Aquatica (Water Park) [Haven't been but looks
Sea World Orlando (Animal, Theme, and Water)
Universal Studios Orlando (Theme Park)
Busch Gardens (Theme Park)
Wet n' Wild Orlando (Water Park)

I would like to go to all of them. I haven't been to Aquatica but it looks good.
The rest in my list, I have been too.

I VOTED FOR ALL ANYWAY! Smile

I voted for Bush Gardens, Legoland, Disney World and Sea World. Although, I have never been to them or any of them so I don't know what they are really like.

You know, now that I'm thinking about it, I constantly see ads for Disney world and Universal Studios but when have you ever seen and ad for Legoland and Busch Gardens?

I've been to Rapids, and if you've never been there, it is my all time favorite water park!! I've been there like 10 times and I live in Atlantic City, where we have Ocean City, and we have Wildwood. But in the near future they're going to build a water park that will cost $300 million!!! But NONE of them will EVER be as good as Rapids.

Yeah I think it is supposed to be themed that way. Here is a picture of it. Unfortunately, I can't say I've been there. But I think the story (fictional) behind the park is that a freak snow storm hit Florida and then it was turned into a ski resort. Of course, the snow ended up melting and the resort started to close. But an Alligator slid down one of the ski jumps and found it quite fun with a splash at the end! So, it became blizzard beach a twist of both worlds!Smile

This picture here shows the "snow" and one of the old ski jumps turned into waterslides.
