Louder Ride Music

#1
Hello All,

I've got one thing that is really bugging me with RCT3, that is how close you have to be to the rides to hear the music.

Anyway either through a mod or options.txt to make the music louder for rides or the range in which the music play across larger?

Thank You in advance

I haven't heard of a mod for that, but I bet there is a txt. document to make the music louder.
To be honest, I only add music to a ride when I am making a Fun Fair, something like that.
But when I do add music to a ride in an Amusement Park, I usually just add music to the main rides.

I love adding music to my rides, but just can't hear them until I'm up close

I have never heard of altering the Music in a txt file. Have you had a look at your Game Options? - You can change the loudness of the sounds.

Had a look, just changing overall sound, but doesn't effect ride music

Blah wait.........
I am able to play different music on different loud speakers, you probably could as well.
You can alter the volume of the loud speakers.

I would have suggested what Matthew suggested, more loud speakers. You can also change the background music to the track you want to hear should you zoom out of the park. With your options, turn down the top and the bottom overall sound and whack up the middle one, the music option, then adjust the volume on your system speakers.

I usually keep my Laptop speakers at 20 because I have HD speakers.

I have found the power of loud speakers :-)

Cannot believe after playing this for this many years I have never utilised them.

I've got them all over my park playing different music

I have created a 42min long mp3 with music from Universal Studios and Disney World for main area's. Then my Dino area has Jurassic park. Pirate area has Yo Ho Yo Ho.

I will upload some pictures of this park soon. 4 days work and only 5 rides. Lots of scenery and buildings.

Thanks for help :-)

Ha, good idea! - At least it wouldn't keep looping the same song over again. Smile
