Boring Back Story
I've designed my fair share of small coasters over the years, most of which I designed before 2011 when I had my old computer. Unfortunately, every design I created from 2004-2011 was lost when my old computer up and died for no reason. Thus, I want to get most of my decent coaster designs out in the open so at the very least, if I find myself on another computer for whatever reason, I can recover the track files for myself.
Problem (Sort of relevant, but feel free to keep scrolling)
Uploading tracks is a pain; at least for me it is. I generally tend to only upload coasters I deem to be of excellent quality, and I try to save those for Build It entries. Usually these are larger, more exciting coasters with long track lengths and/or elaborate scenery.
But what about the small coasters of excellent quality? Don't they deserve the same recognition as the larger ones? I've always felt that they did, but at the same time, it didn't make sense to me to upload each and every one of my designs one at a time due to most of them being rather....small. I also felt it would be a bit overwhelming to throw a bunch of coasters, diminutive or not, out into the open at once, as they would not get the same amount of attention as the larger coasters that stand alone. I couldn't think of a solution as to how to upload these tracks as quickly as possible without them being overlooked.
Until now.
Solution (or the "Until now" moment; this is the part you should actually read)
I thought to myself, instead of going through the painstaking process of uploading each track individually, why not upload a bunch of tracks in the same file?
Thus, the Coaster Pack was born. 9 short-but-sweet coasters packed into one (park) file, all available in a single download.
>> Download it here. << Please.
If this pack receives enough positive reception, I'll make more coaster packs like this. I have plenty more small coasters that I would like to share, but I hate uploading them one at a time.
