@Anonymous - It is actually a nice idea, kinda like a Build-It for collabs. The only way I think deleting a thread might be possible is if Justin does it.

Yes but I think we're the only site with an always-running weekly competition! I would not want that adding more categories causes a lacks of entries... but we could see...

A winning entry should have great scenery and a great layout. The problem with creating separate categories is that it allows for two incomplete entries to win, which would encourage some builders to focus on either the layout or the scenery but not both. Certain rounds will consist of four coasters that can be deemed incomplete or unsatisfactory in either scenery or layout, but in those cases, it would make even less sense to award two or more winners if none of them really deserve to win.

The best course of action when building a coaster is to focus on all aspects equally, and when you're finally finished with it, add more shrubbery.
