I have a few questions.

#1
Hey guys, I have multiple questions I would like to ask.

1) Can some people give me tips on how to create themed rides? Like I understand how to do it, but where do you get your inspiration from?
2) What do you look for in a coaster? How fast it is? How many drops? Turns? Inverts? Rolls? etc.
3) What type of coaster do you use most?
4) What types of water rides do you prefer?
5) What do you like to use as a setting for parks?

Thanks!

I dont build alot of coasters, but I watch more than my fair share of coaster videos. Here are some of my thoughts on your questions.

Inspiration for theming a ride can come from many places. You can try to recreate theming from a real world coaster, or you can base the theming of your ride from the name. Lets say you name your ride "Minotaur", then you may want to find scenery relates to a Minotaur, Greek mythology stuff.

When I look at a coaster, of course I look at the elements used. Loops, turns, rolls ect. but I also look at the pacing of the ride as well as the smoothness from one element to another.

Since I don't actually build many coasters, I don't have a preference as to which one I like the most. When I played through the scenarios, I liked to use a mix of all the types.

When it comes to water rides, I mainly like the slides the most. I havent really seen too many water rides that have really kepy my attention.

Ive seen settings for parks range from country to city and everywhere in between. Country settings with trees and rolling hills, seem to be pretty popular.

I dont know if any of this helps you, but if it did, great!

Thanks for the input. I have an idea I have been working on for the past few days, and it seems to be coming out nicely.
