RE: Space Simulator UPDATE - Spez - Dec 6, 2007 coasterfreek900 Wrote:Yeah, that is very nice! I am glad to see that this is coming along very nicely! I will download it so please post when you are done! Unless there's a radical increase of size limit for uploads 'soon', I think I will have to post this park in separate parts! Remember the screenshots with every wall installed and structural supports. The .dat file was already almost 13 mb. And I'm still working on the mothership and battleship, and the major coaster ride traveling through it is yet to be built... But that is an idea... Since more than half of this size is due to gigantic pitch black walls and supports, I could post it 'unmounted' with base park, saved structures, maybe some coasters too, all this with complete building instructions, and post them individually... Some kind of Ikea package without Allen key!!! RE: Space Simulator UPDATE - Spez - Dec 10, 2007 Latest updates: I performed pitch black screen test for celestial bodies. Test is conclusive. This solution will most likely be applied. Mothership exterior shell is finally completed! So is the battleship. Front windows offer an unexpected but interesting x-ray vision. RE: Space Simulator UPDATE - Jakk - Dec 11, 2007 good golly gosh this park looks cool, if only custom scenery was more detailed RE: Space Simulator UPDATE - Spez - Dec 11, 2007 Jakk Wrote:good golly gosh this park looks cool, if only custom scenery was more detailed I know, because of the sheer size of the spaceships I had to rely mainly on Expo 3000 wall set. Those huge inclined and diagonal beams allowed me to build big and faster than Spaceworks, for example, altough this was useful for the interior. But with time, I might be able to add little details here and there on the exterior shell. I have to go through the entire library of custom scenery available on the Net, I suppose. On the other hand, I already have plans for Version 2 of The Space Simulator. I'm already performing 'tests' on this... More later... RE: Space Simulator UPDATE - Spez - Dec 11, 2007 Mission accomplished !!! Space Simulator 1 is finally completed. Here's the first screenshots. I'll post later other stuff such as coaster stats and coastercam images.
