Windows Movie Maker is a free software app that makes avi files out of your video clips. If you have a newer version onf Windows XP, it is included. If not, download Service Pack 2 from http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us. Happy trails!
