Do you have USB 2.0 ? That causes a lot of problems with iPod :x

omg! A USB 2.0 is standard today! Why wouldnt iTunes make it compatible?! Perhaps they had a brain fart?

i got a 4GB black one!!! got it for my 15th birthday!! the batteries dont last that long though...longest ive had it for was 10 hours...
