My bro's just got one! But it doesnt work iTunes and the software needed installs fine, then my PC freezes when we connect it

omg! A USB 2.0 is standard today! Why wouldnt iTunes make it compatible?! Perhaps they had a brain fart?

in the installation does it ask you to connect the iPod?

Yeh! I do then it freezes

i got a 4GB black one!!! got it for my 15th birthday!! the batteries dont last that long though...longest ive had it for was 10 hours...
