Animatronics don't want to "stand" on fortress roof tiles

#1
So I'm building a pirate and tropical themed area for my park and I've already built a nice fortress wall to surround the area in. However I'm trying to place some pirates on the parapets and ramparts and they all want to float slightly above the tiles, rather than stand on the "floor" of those tiles. Is there any kind of control trick thing I can do to get them to stick where I want them? Perhaps some kind of control that forces clipping through objects when you place them rather than snapping into place where the game thinks they should go?

try holding shift while on the object and move it down.

That's the snapping part I meant. It doesn't want to clip through and stand when I hold shift. Trust me I already tried it, but thank you. ^^ Was wondering if there was another way to force it to clip through stuff so it properly sits on the roof.

Building piece. Personally I think the props should be allowed to clip through them... *grumble*...

It doesn't want to clip through and Rift Platinum stand when I hold shift. Trust me I already tried it,

Have you tried saving the animatronic as scenery with a flat ride and placing it that way?
