Yeh, then delete your ride and you’ll never know there was a problem placing that scenery. Then, so you don’t have to go through this all again in another park or somewhere else in your existing park, after you’ve loaded your roofs and gotten them where you want them you can then save that as a structure.
The structure save will save what’s there regardless of how it intersects so when you reload the structure the pieces you cheated with intersection will appear right were you placed them.
Whether with a ride or as a structure it is not possible in any way, shape or form to save paths and path add-ons whether they are being saved for somewhere else in the same park or for a future park. This includes any regular scenery that may not be a path add-on that is available through the path add-on menus. If you want to duplicate a path you’ll need to cover it with path covers, save the covers as a structure, load the covers structure and place the path using the placed covers structure as a guide.
I wish they could be but not all the flat rides can be saved. The easiest way to tell is to open the ride’s menu and go to the tab where it is expected to see the save icon. No icon, no save possible. A shame, that, because sometimes it would be handy to save the timings and colours of a flat ride. If it’s possible to save the flat ride it is also possible to save it with scenery. A few icons over from the save icon will be another icon asking you to select the area of scenery you want to save with the ride. Click on that and use the cursor to outline the area you want to save with the blue ghost tile squares that display.
