This is true. RCT2 does not make back-ups. If you want files to be in a safe place in case something goes wrong it is your responsibility as the user of your computer and of your files to make your own back-ups. If you find yourself in a position where you need backed up files and you have not made them then that is your fault and your problem. I hope you give RCT2 a punch in his face so he’ll learn his lesson for next time.
And before you blame RCT2 for something else, RCT2 save files are not hidden. They are in plain view in the Program Files folder. If you need to be told where in that folder they are then chances are nobody more than two meters away from your keyboard or outside your room can help you without holding your hand and leading you to the solutions you need so that is also your problem.
