LOL! Why is there even a right turn lane there? There used to be a 3 way intersection at my town that looked almost exactly like that, only if you were going west and turned left you would end up in someones driveway, and it happened all the time. It made the guy who owned the place really mad.
G-Force, if you have a beachfront house in Hawaii, is it legal or tourists to walk through your property to the beach?

I'm assuming it's to save money - this way, they only had to rip up all of that once (when they originally built the road).
They did a similar thing here - they've now completed that road, but all they had to do there was pick up where they left off, rather than rip it all up after already having done so once.

I live in Indiana, and we dont get much tourism here. What do you want to see? If you look on your right, you can see a corn field. If you look on your left, you can see another corn field. There ya go! Your official tour of Indiana. Unless you visit Indianapolis, Ft. Wayne, or South Bend, that is about all there is.

I was in an airplane flying over it and it wasn't much like that, but still corn everywhere.
I agree with sonic though about how tourists do ruin things. About 5 years ago at the county fair these drunk guys entered the place smoking (which was also not allowed here) and they entered a photo booth and just trashed it for 2 minutes before security finally took them out.
There are a lot of county build gardens and signs by the roads so of course they are trashed a lot. In my town there i s a traffic circle with lots of California Poppies (California state flower) growing around it, it also happens to be right next to the police station. Its illegal to pick or vandalize them so its not uncommon to see someone completely unaware of the fact that its not permitted and the police are right there, walk up to the circle and pick them only to be approached and fined.

I don't know. I live in the middle of Oahu where all of the beatiful mountains and forests are. But the beach at Waikiki has tourists all over it. To find someone local there, all you have to do is find someone that isn't so white that it's blinding. I know it's a little racist but it's so true! A lot of the tourists are fat. Even more of them are senior citizens. It is NOT pretty. I'm so glad that it's not a good place for surfing. It's easier for me to avoid it that way.
I heard that its the law to let them on your property if your house is a beachfront. This country has too many stupid laws, just find a walkway or road to the beach. People pay millions of dollars more then what the house is worth just to have it by the beach.
