Why is it such a big deal?

Right now, Hawaii is having financial trouble. So, the government started having ferlough (IDK how to spell it) days at the schools, and they did other stuff to save and gain money. These ferlough days are basicly unpaid holidays. I missed like half of my 2nd quarter because we had so many of them.

That depends on the county and district you live in. All of the U.S is having financial trouble, yet my county school system is still holding on strong. The only reason I've ever missed school days was either holidays or snow days.

It's snows everywhere. I heard it snowed in Orlando. Man I wish I went to Orlando!!!
My dad told me a story that when he was little, there was snow in Miami.
If the temp is lower than 32 degrees, and rains, and the air is not dry, its snows.
