Wooden Coasters

#1
I would like to learn how to create a wooden coaster. But I realize the beast was not very realistic. Now people have explained the importance of intensity, g forces I think I know how to make a better WC (wooden coaster). I'm open to any other suggestions. If anyone can provide links to good examples of Wooden RC I'd appreciate it. I'll go back on youtube and see if I can find demos. I watched the tutorial that came with rct but didn't really help. I also started reading about the physics of rcs. Very interesting and 10 for intensity would really hurt someone ): I've gotten some tips on what levels of g's to get for a more realistic coaster. Wooden coasters were my favorite to ride at Six Flags Great America. I sat in the front seat riding the "American Eagle". That was a great ride, but rough because of its age. I'm downloading more cs to add to the designs. Thanks all again. Always open for suggestions. I don't take comments and critiques personally. Smile Smile

First you need to custom support it. I'm not very good at this myself.
Bigburger's Timber is a one - stop WC supports center.

For footers, use the same. For other stuff, I recommend Baffie's Stations, JackyX Wood coaster stuff, and some old spices trees.

Anyhow, I think using a CTR would be wise also, like Station Jim's Wooden Cars or Maylene's Millennium flyer. If you don't, that's fine, we don't judge coasters on if they use CTRs or not.
If you don't know how to install CS/CTR, use Chimalion70005's tutorial:http://rctgo.com/videos/watch/607. Anyhow, hope this helps.

P.S. CTR's have MUCH better EIN stats than regular coasters.
                                                           Total coasters ridden: 66
Soon to be more. Cedar Point, Silver Dollar City, and Six flags St. Louis are all upcoming for me. Also possibly Kings Island!
