Tropical Inversion - Floorless Coaster

#1
The POV is rendering as we speak. Here are a couple of screenshots to wet the whistle. I am learning some of the camera tricks that I have never messed with. Will post the POV as soon as it is up on YouTube.

Tropical Inversion - Giant Floorless Coaster - E: 10.5 | I: 7.79 | N: 3.73

Huge drop, lots of inversions - Let me know what you think!

UPDATE: Here is the POV - http://youtu.be/BeRZiMSbFlI

looks good. the mountains are a bit angular though, give them a quick tap with the terrain averager to smooth off the edges

Actually for an NCSO Project not bad.
The Video/POV was okay, but the music was amazing. Camera-Route could be a little bit smoother, sometimes they turned around to fast, but its all practice Smile

Horrible for me as an "realistic" designer to see is this liftthill, this combo of steep/slope/chain parts is ugly.
I know only one guy, that do this the same way, and thats "Damage", an RCT1 Let's Player on Youtube, but the reason why he builds so is the money aspect Wink.
Its cheaper in RCT1 & 2 but looks so horrible in my opinion and in RCT3 i think its a no-go.

If you want to build fantasy coasters ok, everything is good and allowed Biggrin
but if you want to build more realistic ones, that what most of us do, than you should learn to build the lifthill normal Tongue
Here are alot of very good designers there, so dont be shy and ask if you want to learn something about "real" Tracks & Layouts.

You have some talent, so keep it up and we'll see Smile

Soo long, Cobra Cool
Keep it everytime fair and with enough respect for each other!

Hi Cobra,

Thanks for the great constructive criticism - Ill address your points Below.

What could I have done to make the video and POV amazing as well? Besides what you already pointed out about the smoothness of that fast turn around. I am still learning the flying camera etc. and I did rush some of it to get to the finished product. Ill do better next time! I was proud of the timing aspect of the music alongside the footage, thanks for that!

The lifthill - I agree - this coaster was definitely not made to be ultra realistic, although I do pay attention to G's etc to make sure peeps wont come back to the station dead. haha! This choice was made while making it with my kids and just for the added speed of getting that higher drop with a shorter distance to accomplish it.

The current park that I have been picking my rides to share from were done before I was on this board. In the future I do plan on creating more "realistic" projects specifically to share and contribute to this community. These are kind of test runs as to the process of doing POV/Videos, track uploads and posts here on the board.

I appreciate your feedback and any in the future. I look forward to creating some projects that can get that elusive "Amazing!" Thanks again!

What do you think of these newer coasters I have been working on?
