Free cPanel hosting does exist, but honestly, it’s hit or miss. Most of the time you’ll get limited resources, slow speed, or random downtime ?. I tried a few — they’re fine for testing or learning, but not for anything serious. If you just wanna experiment, go for it, otherwise even a cheap shared hosting plan is way more stable in the long run.
