what do you want to see in RCT4 PC?

#21
I definitely want to see some of the features already mentioned (ie better graphics, faster engine, similar designer to NL) But I really want to see a first person implementation and all the fun of being a guest. I don't want to just ride the rides but I want to be able to physically interact with other peeps and indoor rides and so on. This could be REALLY cool with multiplayer (hint hint atari). I do really want to see some upgraded construction of the roller coasters too, because if you try to make a turn such as a batwing, the ride comes out all jerky and unpleasant.
A better career mode would be appreciated, something with more tasks per level instead of the somewhat inappropriate task system used already. Native 3d model support from autodesk software would be cool for custom scenery. Oculus rift support would pretty awesome too (not likely though)

in rct4 a roof must be a roof, not like in rct3 where rain is going trough stone wood and glass Confused

Lets say you made a mistake with one of the scenery items that came with the game. You wanted to fix it. But now you have to go back into the menu and find that item again. I hope in the future there will be a better way. Have the day and night time be a little more realistic as well as the temperature settings.

Well I want NoLimit supports, but there is an option for the game to do it for you, and you can turn this feature on and off(Basically, realistic looking supports, and you can chose to build them yourself or the game do it for you.

personally, i want to be able to build special pieces for coasters in any direction. its quite restrictive having to be at a 90 degree angle to use a large half loop. wouldnt mind seeing new special pieces like tilt coaster has too.

I don't want to see the annoying birds.

I didn't realize Atari added a Screamin' Swing ride like Skyhawk at Cedar Point to RCT World, that is extremely cool! Smile I am very interested to see what other rides and roller coasters they add! Smile I did some more research on this game tonight, and found this:

RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be available for PC and feature a combination of fan-favorite and completely new gameplay --such as an innovative track builder, more rides than ever before, and all-new cooperative multiplayer functions in addition to classic single player modes.

Excited to learn what Atari and Pipeworks mean by "innovative track builder" and "more rides than ever before". I know a lot of people have been wanting similar ride construction in NL2 implemented in RCT World, I for one want Atari to stick with the same track building in RCT1, 2, & 3 but we will see in the coming months. As far as the new rides are concerned, will Atari add a Winged coaster like Gatekeeper at Cedar Point? I sure hope so, that would be amazing! Smile

^ that sounds really good actually! I'm very skeptical about this game, but that doesn't sound too bad.
All we need is somebody to lean on.

what makes me skeptical is the games they have produced before. going from simple mobile games or xbl arcade games up to an fll rct game is a big step.... im not sure if they can pull it off

Well a lot of people are wondering why Pipeworks agreed to make a new RCT game when they haven't even made significant games in the past, but I think Atari is moving in the right direction because Frontier wants absolutely nothing to do with Atari anymore and Chris Sawyer has fallen completely off of the face of the universe. This could be a very good game because Atari hasn't released an RCT game since 2004 so fans are itching and dying to play a new RCT game.

I also get very excited when I watch the trailer and see "The Best Things in Life...Are Worth Waiting For", I think this has the potentially to be a really good game. I am dying to see new pictures and video footage! Smile
