hopefully it fixes itself and gives me enough time to finish my bobsleigh

I hope you are going to able to get your computer fixed. When I've had problems (when nothing else will work) with my computer I set it back to the default settings (that was on my pc laptop) I had to back up what I wanted, re-install my software on my computer. It seems to solve my issues, but then I have to do a lot of updates. So far my version of RCT3 Platinum is still working on Windows 8.1. I'm not an expert but thought I would share with you what I did. If you choose to do this, your computer will want to do a lot of updates. If you have already tried this then disregard. I look forward to seeing your project. Smile To find where to change your computer back to default (factory settings) on my system you can find it in settings and then depending on what version you have of windows it may be called refresh or recovery/advanced options (sometimes also located on your control panel - system and security) I always make a backup of all of my custom scenery so I don't have to keep downloading it. But I also do individual file scans before placing the download file onto my hard drive.

it doesnt let me log in. one of the things that is involved in start up is broken so as soon as i turn it on, it starts to look for broken files and fix them so it.

i googled it and someone said it too 3 days to fix itself. if its not done by the end of monday, i will try and pick up a new laptop and just takethe hard drive out my old one so i dont lose any stuff.... then im going to make multiple backups

I guess I've never heard of that before. I hope you get it fixed. I don't know what system you are on. But when I was looking for a new computer, most had Windows 8.1. I had a hard time finding a later version. But if you have to I would shop around. I got a good deal buying direct from a certain company online because they were having a sale at the time. It took about a week for me to get my computer. Still when you get a chance, post your design...I like your work Smile

Sounds like u probably have a virus.. let the automatic repair run its course.. if nothing changes- depending on your OS- consider booting the computer in safemode and running your antivirus software; u may need to manually delete the affected files through a command prompt while in safemode so make note of any infected files that come up in your scan.

Or possibly running the windows recovery disk. At bootup it should give an option to repair computer. If nothing seems to work i would strongly suggest taking it to a repair professional; they may be able to deal with it for a fraction of the cost of buying a new computer.

If you do decide to pick up another laptop then the one thing i would definitely not do is attach your current harddrive until u can be sure it has been cleaned of any infection. Losing data always sucks but not as much as infecting a new computer. And be sure to always scan any and all downloads, especially torrents

the repair thing said it couldnt find the OS boot files. it probably found this out ages ago but it kept rebooting itself and attempting to fix them. hopefully i can just stick a windows 7 disc in and turn it on, probably wont work but its worth a try

Don't know why, but I can't get my park/entry to download here.
So it's been downloaded to the 'parks' section as Mountain Challenge.
