Vote for your favorite track! Round 170

#11
I didn't get a chance to vote the last round, so I will vote this time!!! Wow, all B&Ms.

Siege- Good design, I like the layout and supports. It also has some good footers and foliage, and the Tropical Island is a great enviorment for a coaster like this.
Grizzly- Caution, MurphTheEngineer10 in this round. His coasters are just so great, he makes everything good. Supports, Layout, Station, Scenery and Foliage. I think this might have won my vote!
Colossus- Reminds me a lot of Manta. The layout is unrealistic for a B&M Flyer, but hard work put in overall. I see alot of good aspects of the other parts of the ride, but I will say this looks alot like coasters made by people like colts18to87td!
Steel Instinct- It's hard to judge the ride with one screenshot. However, the layout is quite nice and the CTR looks cool. Which CTR is that?

My Vote: It's a long read.

First Part: Steel Instinct should wait till next week to become more superior, so that is not in my vote.

Second Part:
I really love the layout and supports of Siege, so this will be in my favorites. However, Grizzly is another great ride by Murph, so this will be another Very Likely vote! Colossus is kind on the edge of making it on the Top 2 or Top 3. In the end, Colossus will be in my top 3 because of it's uniqueness.

So I will have to decide on these three.

Thanks for making this a great round competitors!

Are you just doing this to be nice to Slurpee_Man?

I would not say "to be nice". But more that he has my deep respect, And that he made a great coaster. Smile

I am not saying that the other builders don't have my respect, but, Slurpee_Man I just (I don't know why) have a big respect for him. Smile

Good luck to everyone who entered!

We are supposed to be voting on the coaster, and not have any bias towards the creator. This is why Justin has the names of the creators disabled on this forum, and idk why he doesn't on the actual build-it page.

Siege and Grizzly are easily the best coasters. My vote goes to Grizzly because Siege is a sitdown with a wingrider layout, and Grizzly packs some original elements.
All we need is somebody to lean on.

Okay, let's get started on this round! Wow, all B&Ms. Wink

PioneerRock's Siege- Custom B&M Sit-down with some nice foliage and a nice theme, that's a good part! It's solid, but I didn't like the box-y supports on parts like the lift, so I think these parts could have been done better. But overall great work!!!

MurphTheEngineer10's Grizzly- Great job on this Murph. Most things are amazing but the track color could have been a little more to it's name. This is really awesome!!!!!

Slurpee_Man's Colossus- Solid job, a nice B&M Flyer. But at some points the supports weren't fully connected and the layout wasn't too realistic for that kind of coaster. So a little bit of touching up and it could be like Pioneer's and Murph's.

Six Flags Kid's Steel Instinct- Ha Ha um.... No description, No POV, and only one picture. One point to a nice layout and to the colours, but otherwise make it better before entering a contest like this one.

RESULTS:

Siege- 8/10 B+
Grizzly- 9/10 A-
Colossus- 6/10 C
Steel Instinct- 4/10 D-

So far my top two are the "top two" :P

ORDER NOW:
Steel Instinct- out
Colossus- Sorry, but with two other coasters that are by the two best builders, I don't think so.
Siege- Very creative!
Grizzly- Another masterpiece by you!

I haven't voted yet, it's such a mind boggler!

After a days time to think about it, I really love Tropical-Island themed coasters, so my vote goes to Siege.

But remember, this time we have four great entries!!!

Bye!

It could use custom supporting and maybe some factory theming. Other than that, it is very good.

I have respect for you too, rccoa. You have my full support. (Unless it's like build-it 163)
Thank you.

ONTO THE ENTRIES!

1. Siege by PioneerRock
-Supports good, but use CPCISCO"S B&M FOOTERS! After all, it is a B&M.
-Layout looks like a wingrider coaster like silvar said.
-The scenery looks good, though a bit rushed.
Overall: Take my suggestions and, if I hadn't entered, you'd have my vote. B

2. Grizzly by MurphTheEngineer10
-Supports meh.
-Layout has a bit too many inversions. Seems like you are trying to give riders whiplash.
-The scenery is the best part of the ride.
Overall: Rad my YouTube comment and otherwise, C+

4. Steel Instinct by SixFlagsKid
-NO CUSTOM SUPPORTS? BLECH!
-Layout is really good.
-Not much scenery.
Overall: Vert's comment sums it up well. D+

Colossus POV Will be up on YT soon!

Shut up! My coaster isn't THAT bad! A " bit of touching up" will be needed for your "top two!"
Seriously, just because you WON doesn't mean you can treat my ride like crap! Gosh...
                                                           Total coasters ridden: 66
Soon to be more. Cedar Point, Silver Dollar City, and Six flags St. Louis are all upcoming for me. Also possibly Kings Island!

Slurpee, he isn't treating your ride like crap. He's giving his opinion and giving some constructive criticism while he's at it. The least you can do is thank him for that. Teling him to "shut up" because he criticises your work is a bit ridiculous.

Also, giving opinions like that about fellow contestants isn't exactly the nicest thing you can do.
All we need is somebody to lean on.

Im going to do something different for my grading lol

Steel Instinct:
Layout realism: 5/10.
realsim of coaster to its manufacturer 1/10 no manufacturer listed. It looks like B&M but if it was, theres no scenery to accompany it
Supports: NO custom supports but theyre at least straight Smile 1/20
Color Scheme: 5/10. COlor scheme resembles something evil i guess?
Theming: 0/10 no theming or scenery
Pics: 1/5. Hey hey theres one pic at least
foilage 0/15 none
Do i wanna ride this coaster? 1/10 No. Sharp curves will kill me, esp when youre going through it fast
Final: 14/100=F
Tips: Wait a couple rounds to add more scenery before entering. ALso check out some CS

Siege (a B&M Sitdown)
Layout: 8.5/10 niceeeee but as silvarret said, it resembles a wing coaster, the first drop
Realism of coaster to its manufacturer- 9.5/10 yes its B&M except for the box supports its really good.
supports 19/20 holy theese supports are interesting and cool. Impressive
color scheme 10/10. always loved red and white scheme
theming. 9.5/10 nice island theme! very successful.
realism in scenery 10/10 perf
pics/pov 4.5/5. Theres no pov in the description so i had to dig in youtube to find it
foilage 15/15. appopriate and nicely done
Do i wanna ride this coaster? 9.5/10 Yep. It looks like a really fun and intense ride.
95.5/100=A
nicely done
Tips: dont go in the same round as Murph Smile

Collosus
Layout 8/10 cant see much of the ride but i do see some interesting elements
Realism of coaster to its manufacturer 8/10 thats B&M i think so kool
supports 14/20. Supports were okay but there were some sloppy parts where supports didnt touch the track O.o
color scheme 9/10 like it
theming 6/10. None but it has a good generic theme
realism in scenery 8/10 youre missing a lot of ground shrubbery and fencing and you need better stations like ones that have like queue in it
pics/pov 3/5 cant see layout that well
foilage 9/15 youre missing a ton of ground shrubs. The trees were good looking tho
Do i wanna ride? 8.5/10 YESSSSS
73.5/100=C what no it should be like a B
Tip: Id say the same thing, wait a week Smile)))))))))))))))))))
but nice job overalll

Grizzly (a B&M Floorless)
Layout 10/10 typical B&M
Realism of coaster to its manufacturer 10/10 can easily see is B&M
supports 10/10 perf
color scheme 9/10 i like yellow and light blue better :P
theming 9/10 generic so cool
realism in scenery 10/10
pics/pov 5/5
foilage 14.5/15. could have more ground shrubbery
Do i wanna ride? 10/10 yesssss
97.5/100
