I've been trying to record some rct2 videos with bandicam, but it wont show the fps, and sometimes freezes the game when i start recording before i enter the game
Anyone know how I can record properly?

I tried a Camtasia Free Trial before, and it works the same way as Fraps, the FPS don't show up and it can't record because the game is too old

I don't know if anything can show the FPS while you record, but another alternative is CamStudio, which is pretty lightweight and doesn't use much CPU. You may want to give it a try. Their codec sometimes puts artifacts in the video, but it should be fine for RCT2. I've had awesome success with recordmydesktop, but unfortunately it's only for Linux, although most Windows games can run under Wine.

Well I tried out Cam Studio and it gives me horrible frame rate and it gave me 4 smaller pictures of the game in black and white in the bottom of the screen when i played it back

I use Hypercam 2 on my Windows XP computer to record RCT2 videos. Maybe it's possible to run it on newer systems too in compatibility mode?
