[DAI3] Jiu Xiao Lun- Fear of China

Here's my lay-out of the DAI3 contest

Inversion: Cobra Roll, Crossing Corcscrews, Looping.

Next time i'll do terraforming and further station work, attampt 1 was a failure (too fast for al long track, and kinda boring)

The name sounds really good. Smile

Crossing Corkscrews, huh? Cool idea, definitely a unique inversion.
Maybe it could look a bit smoother, if you change the angle from the second one also to digonal.

Layout looks fine, a lot of space between some parts, that means enough space for nice asian scenary.
A temple here and there and some nice garden-parts (don't forget a zen-garden), maybe with some interaction with the Queue and this will become a nice asian atmosphere.

Terraforming is up next, have some fun with it like i have currently xD

Also good luck for the contest, Jinglebells.

Yay Asian theming ! Even though I wasn't fond of the layout at first (nothing special really stood), it grew on me. I love how you do not just focus on inversions but instead place many graceful turns and slopes around. It makes the layout more complete and should deliver fantastic interaction with the scenery if well executed.

I might be stating the obvious, but if you ever meet troubles with building an Asian-themed station/stuff, Belotto's structures could provide you some great inspiration:

Well, to be honest i am not really a fan of these crossed Corkscrews.
But its different than the allways use of interlocking ones. Maybe with scenary/terraforming around it, they will look better than they look currently.
Asian theming could be nice, i also agree with "Cobra" about the name. Sounds nice. Smile

Nothing else to say, because its way to early to judge about something or give useable feedback.

Update comes soon when im finished the supports, i don't know how to make an realistic "zen-garden" so i build some shitty thingy. Station is done, terraforming, i want to make a sea and sort of vulcano soon. I watched it again and some colours of the ground do looks like "Tatsu" lol.

Don't think to much about it if you want to build realistic.
Try to keep it simple at the start, the rest comes from alone and your imagination Wink

Examples:

As you can see, they aren't that difficult. Terrapaint a small area, add borders around and place some stones/shrubs on some points. Wink

Whem i was useing moby's walls v2 this parkfile crashed (i cant open anymore (the save turns into grey instead of white (anyone knows whats wrong?)))
Then i was creating another coaster (coaster name: Beachos Marin(beach theme)) and also this one is crashed by clicking suddenly the wrong fenches (moki instead of belgabor path) but the most question is how to remove the "in-grey-turned-parkfile" ?

Well, i never had such a problem like this.

But it seems like that you use only "one" safegame for a big project like the "DaI3"-contest.
Never do something like this. RCT3 is way to unstable and everytime you use a cso or new ones, the game can go crazy.

I would recommend to delete every cso that crashes your game. After deleting all the bad stuff, start RCT3 and take a look on a "blank" map if the game runs without errors. Than you can try to load the not working safegame. With some luck it could be work.

If nothing helps, re-install the whole game. But before doing this back-up all of your importent files, like safegames, cso's and stuff like that.
