I'll say use
-halfloop
-large corkscrew
-large corkscrew
-half loop
for a realistic cobra roll

using large loops looks better but you need to use opposite half loops (so the bottom of the half loops are close together and the tops are far apart)

Oh I know why it wasn't working with the half loop, because I was using the large loop thing, but where do I put the corkscrew connectors on the corkscrew?

just support the middle of the corkscrews (where they join up to each other). also, watch that video
