started a new project a few weeks ago. its a B&M sit down with a sci-fi theme.

so far i have most of the station complete, just need 1 more room decorating then i can stick a roof on it and start on the exterior.





















not too sure what to do about foliage. the sci-fi trees in the game look a bit stupid and as far as i know, there arent any CS sets that include 'alien' bushes and trees.

That ride engineer looks just like me.

You could go with an inorganic futuristic feel; make it dark and gloomy. No flora nor fauna, and a lack of smooth edges in the terrain. Either a barren wasteland or a well-developed city. Just some ideas.

tiny update while i think of how to go about the terrain work.
-did a bit of work on the supports
-made a transfer section
-made a small workshop, not decorated inside but who cares about that

I like your colors for the sci-fi theme with your roller coaster. I always have a hard time with sci-fi themes and what to do with the terrain, foliage, etc. I noticed on youtube, Silvarret posted a live stream of a sci-fi park he was working on. I can't find the link anymore, but if you do a search you should be able to find it. It may give you some more ideas to work with.

looks great so far, but I would suggest to make the track connecters the same color as the track. cant wait to see more

another small update.

finished the station interior. just need a few plants in the planters on the roof and a bit of detail on the outside.


built two large structures around the half loop at the end of the ride to take up the space. it looks pretty good so far, just needs a bit more detail.









added some stairs to the outside of the workshop, moved the transfer track down a little bit more, and added catwalks to the brake run at the end of the ride

i have been playing around with the first half of the ride, i cant really get a layout i am happy with. i want to keep the pretzel loop and overbank, im just not sure what to do with the gap between the overbank and inline twist that goes through the station

i have got quite a bit of work done in this (for my standards anyway). the back side of the coaster is pretty much done, i cant really see anything that needs changing, but you may find something.









this is where the quests exit the coaster. through the back of the station and into the gift shop. the interior of the gift shop is good enough but the exterior still needs work, i just dont know what to do with it. if you get any ideas, let me know







this is the food court. it is in the same boat as the gift shop, the interior is done but the exterior needs work.... dont really have any ideas for this one either





this is one of the two monorail stations (havent started the 2nd yet). it still needs work since it looks like a box with a glass roof.... needs more round edges.



i could do with finding a name for this coaster now. its getting on in completion and i would rather now have a finished project with no name.
