Thrill seekers will soon be able to experience another world record at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Flying Aces is planned to become the world’s steepest steel roller coaster, with a starting hill inclined at 51 degrees, plus it will have the world’s tallest loop, stretching 52 metres.
The Yas Island theme park already has the fastest roller coaster in Formula Rossa, which reaches 0-240km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Ferrari World said in a statement that Flying Aces is inspired by Italy’s “ace of aces†Count Francesco Baracca, a famous Italian aviator of the 1900s whose legendary Prancing Horse emblem was inherited by Enzo Ferrari.
The new attraction was announced Tuesday at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
