Well, sry to say that but Faon's tutorials are outdated, especially the HauntedMansion one.
Totally off to place various scenary into the inside only to boost the ratings, but without any other purpose.
And in the end its not more than a massive blocky structure that looks out of scale.
Nothing to say about that the front doesn't look something spooky or manor in any way.

The River Rapids normally don't go to much upwards, mostly at the end right into the station.
For standard RCT2 gameplay its okay and some with terraforming these kind of tracks can be looking really good. But realistic River Rapids will be build mostly flat with 1-2 sloped parts on it.
They can have one final splashdown, so that one big lifthill is needed at the end.
But anything else isn't smart for the waiting time of the ride, because of the slow speed on the lifthill.

Faon is like Fluxtrance, both are good when RCT2 was new, but nowadays they are oldschool.
All there techniques are to old to learn from it proper. For newbies maybe a bit helpful, because some help is better than none.

If people want improve there basic skills in a better way, they should download parks on NE-Design and try to learn from them.
NCSO creations from NE compared to the oldschool boys its like day and night. Totally different.
No suprise infact of the years that are between, to be fair enough. Wink

Silvarret's RCT2 try is nice, but his passion is definitely RCT3. Tongue

But thanks for sharing the links aecrouch7413

Honestly Cobra I dont know what you mean by Flux being "oldschool"
He personally is my idol, and honestly his building the mega park series was a complete masterpiece, honestly I've watched it all at least 5 times, and its what inspired me to start my lets plays
So Im kind of wondering what you mean by oldschool, and then who do you recommend for RCT2 that would be so called "newschool"?

Gosh I haven't played RCT2 for so many years. It might be interesting to blow the dust off that one and try it again. But honestly I don't see how it could compare to RCT3. So much more fun building.
Keep calm and play Roller Coaster Tycoon.
