I think Planet Coaster looks promising as well as Roller Coaster Tycoon World. Both games are in the Beta stages. However I'm not sure about Parkitect. From what I can tell Parkitect is similar to RCT1 and 2. I am waiting for the full version to come out with each game before I purchase them and waiting for more reviews. Have any of you seen more information about the Roller Coaster for Planet Coaster? It seems like they are only showing the peeps and certain things with the park.

I agree about RCTW, it may not be popular now but I believe it will be similar to how RCT3 was received, people initially won't like it because it is soo different but will eventually come around to seeing how much potential it has.

Parkitect looks like something diehard fans of the original two would enjoy if you ask me (and as you said) although the graphics remind me of that nightmare I had about a shi**y RCTmobile game, glad it was just a nightmare lol.

Planet Coaster... I have to say I loved the trailer, they did a great job with it although I hated the music, if those are the in-game graphics and not just trailer graphics then I may end up liking more than RCTW (graphics wise). There is just something about cartoony 3D graphics that just doesn't get old (or bad). I'll have to look into it more however, still believe RCTW will be the best of them from what I've seen thus far, although we won't know until they're released.

I have a lot more faith in Frontier without Atari than Atari without Frontier in terms of making a good rollercoaster simulator. I also believe that the peeps are what make the game so much more real. Cartoonish as they may be, without them the game becomes really sterile. Imagination is nothing with a world of peeps to share it with.

I'm expecting the most from Planet Coaster, a big fan of Parkitect in general, and sceptical about RCTW personally.
