RCT2 Lumberjack - a wooden coaster with a powerful punch!

#1
Lumberjack is a wooden coaster with a powerful punch!

Once, in 1987, a lumberjack named Monty was cutting down trees when he got bonked on the head by a big tree limb. It left him with a permanent ability to make awesome roller coasters. Now, in 2015, he has had many awards for his amazing creations, such as Mission X-15, Povoat, Airtime X, Caution, and many more!
Now, he's finally realized he needs to create a coaster to and for what happened to him in 1987. So, here it is!

Lumberjack:

Excitement Rating: 8.54

Intensity Rating: 8.44 (Notice how the excitement is higher than the intensity, I say it's a rarity to have an excitement that high and the intensity lower).

Nausea Rating: 5.19

10 drops

Top speed: 55mph

Length: 3,881 feet

Will be featured into Build It! at some point.

So, what do you think about Lumberjack? Be sure, if you have a question, a comment, a suggestion, don't be afraid to tell me.

Constructive criticism is advised!

(As ChrisMDB would say *cough*)

Thanks!

This is a complete RCT2 coaster, well done m8! Really the only possible improvement I can suggest is adding ground shrubbery, but other than that nice work!

Chris is correct, ground shrubbery would eliminate the empty green spaces. You can also vary the terrain so that it isn't completely green grass under everything. It's a nice-looking coaster!

@ChrisMDB, think it could win a Build It? Cuz' I don't.

@Terry Inferno, I have never really thought of using shrubbery. But, I think you can all tell I have gotten better with the scenery and terra-forming. No? More facts: 3 build it entries 1 win. (But, the Build It win wasn't really deserved as that was one of the worst rounds ever). I don't recall having one worse-off than the one I won with. xD Oh well. At least, I am getting better though. Smile I think there may be more RCT2 winners in the future. Wink

@BlazingEmpire - I believe that this could win, however timing is also a big factor, if you enter it against two RCT3 entries and an NL2 entry that are decent your chances go down, furthermore if the other entries are really good your chances decrease further simply because people tend to vote for RCT3/NL2 coasters over RCT2.

So honestly it is half you making this as good as possible and half luck in what rounds you enter, part of the reason I won all three rounds I entered is because I was lucky and only one other good entry was in each round with me (Naveiswesome first and Maverick in another, I think TheIsaac was the third...) I was also entering with RCT3 coasters so I had a bit of a handicap going in as well. The fact that Ryu (my first entry) was on RCT3 is likely the only reason it beat out Nave's The Space Race.

Much more complete than my other coasters. That's for sure. Povoat was a winner because that round was horrible, and my coaster was the most complete, being in-complete as it stands. This round, however, I am surprised people are voting for Mission X-15 rather than the oh-so-much-better NL2 coaster, Hyperspace. I must say, I have a solid second place, but there isn't any chance of getting 1st. LOL, ya live and ya learn, NEVER enter if there is a good RCT3, NL1/2 coaster. EVER.

That last sentence is a bit harsh, it isn't 2013 where I hear everyone voted for RCT3 coasters simply because they were RCT3, while some still vote for RCT3 or NL2 simply because they are newer and have better graphics and such it isn't nearly as common. One can still win if the voters like their coaster more than the RCT3 or NL2 coaster. If people are still voting yours over the NL2 then props to you because it is better than you thought.

@ChrisMDB, I made a mistake with that last sentence. I made it as a self preference, not to any of you all. Your coasters from RCT2 to me, has a better chance than mine own. I really didn't mean to sound offensive if any of you interpreted it like that. Again, it was only a self preference. I am judging my own RCT2 creations, not yours (being all who create RCT2). I didn't even realize the mistake I made until I read what Chris said. There will be bad and good RCT2/3 and NL 1/2 creations put into Build It. Don't get me wrong, ALL of your creations/coasters are better than mine any day.
Although, Chris does make a valid point. If I am getting votes, I must have done something right. Wink I strive to get better at creating good coasters. Now however, I am just a mere novice; whilst many many MANY of you are pros. Smile I will get better at creating coasters (and writing sentences that DON'T sound offensive). We all will make mistakes, as I already have.

Do take this as a peace offering for my mistake. :P I didn't mean it. There are several of you who are great at creating RCT2 coasters as well everything else. Don't take it too harshly. Wink

I do eventually plan to start making RCT3 and NL1/2 coasters, as well possibly Parkitect and RCTW. They won't be good at the start, but once I get a feel for it, I should get mucho better. (Like with my 4 Build It entries, I did terrible the first two, learned and took all your suggestions into play, went on to a third round and won). Now into my fourth and getting credits. If ya have any questions about this topic, be sure to comment about it, or PM me. (Personal Message).

Again, sorry. I'll try and not sound offensive.

@BlazingEmpire - It wasn't offensive m8, I read it as you did; I simply meant to say that everyone has a chance to win regardless of what title they publish their coaster from Biggrin
