Hey everyone! Â New here to this forum, and to RCT. Â I just took my kids to our favorite place in the world a few weeks ago, (Disney World) and came home inspired to build my own amusement park. Â Decided to get RCT3 Platinum, and needless to say it's been slow going. Â I spent two three hours on my Toshiba last night trying to figure out how to download and install CS, and was finally successful with the Bulldogs ATM machine lol. Â Oddly enough it showed up in the facilities icon, which was not where I had read it would show up. Â However it is totally within the realm of possibility that I screwed up and just got lucky it made it into the game anywhere lol. Â So as you have probably figured out by now, I will be asking a lot of questions, but from what I have read you all seem super helpful and informative. Â I look forward to this game taking up all my spare time for the next year! Â Thanks again.

Hi, and welcome to the site, it's good to see another Chris on the forums lol. If you have questions or want feedback just feel free to post about it. As for your CS problem some items will come with a ReadMe file when downloaded. They usually have instructions on how to install the CS, CFR, or CTR you've downloaded. The directory for most CS on Windows however is: This PC > Windows ( C: ) > Program Files (x86) > Atari > RCT3 > Style > Themed. I hope this helps, I'm not sure what OS is on a Toshiba computer.

Has a very ironic fear of drops
For landscaping, make sure you use the land smoothing tools , they're very useful for making a landscape look realistic, and also use a variety of similar land colours, as well as hills and valleys
If you're going to do foliage, of course a wide variety of trees is needed (For the vanilla set I mix Douglas Fir, Holly, Hazel, Pine, Oak and Apple)
Also make sure you include ground shrubbery or ChrisMDB will be all over you for that
Welcome to the site!

I'd honestly just experiment with everything and get a feel for it before jumping right in. As for CS I suggest not mixing it with vanilla scenery objects. It can be done but generally there is a large contrast between the two and it's quite er... immersion breaking for lack of a better phrase. Speaking from experience - it may be more tempting to just jump in and try making realistic stuff right off the bat, but my ten years of experience has taught me that it's much more effective at first to just mess around with everything: terrain tools, scenery, ride types, everything.
