Windows 10? Do You Like It? What works, what doesn't?

#1
Windows 10, I just started using it today. Thankfully with the help of compatibility mode I can play RCT3. I can't really make a judgement on it yet because I've only been using it for a few hours. I'm curious what do you like about it or what do you not like? Can you play older games on the system?

Well, I might be the odd one out, hut I really like windows 10. Its fast, has some great features, and it looks visually stunning! It is very compatible with all kinds of programs, I've gotten games from windows 95 to work!

I play RCT2 on my laptop with Windows 10. Sometimes the game doesn't want to load; but restarting my computer can get it back up and working. However, I haven't really tried any other games since I had RCT2 on my laptop since pretty much the very beginning and is really the only game I play on my laptop.

My old computer was doing the same thing on Windows 8.1. It even wanted to schedule a day and a time to install it. I just kept saying no to the install or try to just get rid of that annoying window pop up.

Lol I never had that problem because I scheduled my update 3 months before it came out!

Lucky...guess I still need to learn a few things. Smile
I've been using the new system for about 2 days, and overall I have to say I like windows 10.
I am surprised by that. Windows 8.1 was annoying with all of the pop windows. So far I haven't experienced that.
This is kind of like a modern version of XP.

I dunno what my friend did to make it work, however, when he upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 the system completely prevented him from playing Star Trek Online (even though it played fine on 8) and nothing he did would allow him to access it. Recently though he mentioned the game is up and running.

I've grown used to Windows 10 from Windows 8/8.1 over time. The only game I had on my laptop was RCT2 and that had to go through a few growing pains to get used to running on Windows 10, but it works fine now.

However, an old sports game I used to play on my old desktop ran so choppy, it rendered the game pretty much unplayable on my laptop, which made me sad.
