All other entries are doomed immediately. AT least some of the other competition is decent.

I recently learned some information regarding an entry for this round.

I hope this gets resolved soon.

I guess this is what I get for submitting a design before taking a good honest look at how winning entries seem to get crowned (and it's not by just sticking your coaster against an empty grass background).

I'd like to point out that Manic Miner is an RCT1....

Quick CC:

Flowing Fury - A redo of Torrential Tyrant, not sure if someone downloaded and changed it or the creator just redid it but it looks like the lifthill, station, and final section leading into the brakes are the same.

Predator - Everything else is dunzo, what else can I say?

Badlands Express - Needs the following: A station, foliage, more scenery, ground shrubbery, and we should NOT be able to see the endless plains in the background.

Manic Miner - Looks like something someone we know would do in Millennium Mines on RCT1, but what do I know.

My comments, in short, for each entries:

Flowing Fury - a water and fire based giga coaster:

This entry may look very imposing, but everything else seems to be random. The layout is not very structured and the scenery seems to be placed because we need scenery. A bit of structure in the way to build the roller coaster would be necessary to make it great.

Predator:

I'll say nothing about this one, because we all know why it would take the vote.

Badlands Express - A Custom Mine Train Coaster:

Not a bad entry. The mine themed scenery is well done, but, like ChrisMDB said, it needs more than this. Folliage is completely absent, and a good entry mostly have a good folliage. Also, it is a bit simple and not detailed that much. Needs improvement.

Manic Miner:

Obviously, this is a RCT1 entry. However, I would like to see something more advanced than this, because it looks very simple.
My suggestions to improves the roller coasters:
  • If you have Loopy Landscapes, download the workbench at the bottom of the following page: http://www.gamebeacon.com/downloads/rct/rc.html. You'll have a lot of space to build and all possible rides and scenery objects.
  • Use ghost train tracks to make doors or windows for the buildings if you have LL. It's not possible in the original RCT1 because the track is not available.
  • Try using paths for rooves. If they are well used, they can give an amazing result. Also try to use them for doors or windows if you don't have the ghost train ride.
  • If you are experienced enough, try to use vertical drop roller coaster for custom supports. It's possible in the original RCT1 because the ride is available.
  • Anything else that can improve the roller coaster.
In my opinion, this entry is crushed from the competition, because of this enormous simplicity.
Trying to make an inspiring park or coaster.

HI guys,
So there have been more posts about this situation regarding other coasters. It's a sad situation. Apparently it's been more than one coaster. To me this is very serious. Please look at the posts. I am sure Justin will take care of this situation. I am sharing these because I think these have been in past Build it Competition.
They involve.....

To be honest, all of those entries are great, but since it was never actually Wilhelm, I feel like they should be removed from the Build it competitions list, and let the second place winner, win.

I hate that the actual Wilhelm is being impersonated, but I feel it's fair to have this happen for the competition.

I hope entirely he gets his account back, and the person who stole it is found, and apologizes.

For those who have not voted: The person who entered this round with Predator was not the actual Wilhelm. Someone is impersonating him, and has been stealing his stuff and entering it.

I WOULD NOT vote for this track if you have not voted.
