My comments, in short, for each entries:
Flowing Fury - a water and fire based giga coaster:
This entry may look very imposing, but everything else seems to be random. The layout is not very structured and the scenery seems to be placed because we need scenery. A bit of structure in the way to build the roller coaster would be necessary to make it great.
Predator:
I'll say nothing about this one, because we all know why it would take the vote.
Badlands Express - A Custom Mine Train Coaster:
Not a bad entry. The mine themed scenery is well done, but, like ChrisMDB said, it needs more than this. Folliage is completely absent, and a good entry mostly have a good folliage. Also, it is a bit simple and not detailed that much. Needs improvement.
Manic Miner:
Obviously, this is a RCT1 entry. However, I would like to see something more advanced than this, because it looks very simple.
My suggestions to improves the roller coasters:
- If you have Loopy Landscapes, download the workbench at the bottom of the following page:Â http://www.gamebeacon.com/downloads/rct/rc.html. You'll have a lot of space to build and all possible rides and scenery objects.
- Use ghost train tracks to make doors or windows for the buildings if you have LL. It's not possible in the original RCT1 because the track is not available.
- Try using paths for rooves. If they are well used, they can give an amazing result. Also try to use them for doors or windows if you don't have the ghost train ride.
- If you are experienced enough, try to use vertical drop roller coaster for custom supports. It's possible in the original RCT1 because the ride is available.
- Anything else that can improve the roller coaster.
In my opinion, this entry is crushed from the competition, because of this enormous simplicity.
Trying to make an inspiring park or coaster.
