Farewell Dragon Challenge

#1
Tomorrow marks the end of an era.  Since 1999 Dueling Dragons has been thrilling guest in the back of Universal's Islands of Adventure.  Many have loved this ride and many are going to miss it, for tomorrow is the last day of operation.  I got the chance to ride this coaster for the first time this summer and loved it.  Yes it's a little rough around the edges but still enjoyable.  This thread is for all of us to say our final goodbyes to the Coaster.  May you Rest In Peace.

I heard they were making way for more Harry Potter stuff, still I loved the dragons over the years. My favorite part of the ride was the queue! Walking through the castle with all the skeletons!

These two were one of the first coasters I have ever been on, and also the first inverted coaster(s). The last time I was there, (2010) I rode both probably around twenty times.

Even though they are not my favourite ride/invert, I will still miss them. You have served your purpose well, dragons. Farewell

To be honest they're still perfectly good coasters and should just be relocated to 2 separate parks they're too good for the scrapyard

I have a feeling they will sell the tracks to Anheuser Busch for one of their parks (Seaworld, Busch Gardens, etc.).

I would absolutely love to see either or both coasters placed in a park, rather than refraining from existence. I loved these two, and I will miss riding them.

And maybe another park will duel them

Hate to say it y'all, but they're being scrapped. I miss the rides so much, Fire Dragon was one of the most intense rides I've ever been on. Frown
