I have this issue only with monorails, not with any other transport, even if laid out identically.  The guests go up the queue line, purchase their tickets, step onto the platform ... then walk in a straight line to the other station.  If the station is elevated they walk at that height, through the air.  They walk over or through anything along the way.  Since they buy the tickets I lose nothing, but it looks ridiculous.    This doesn't happen in every park, but often enough to prompt this post.  Any solution to this?

Based on brief experimentation I believe this issue is caused by non-consecutive stations being closer to each other than the track distance between them. For example consider a long rectangle of track with a station at each end and a station in the middle of each long side, if those two stations on the long sides are closer together than the trip from one to the end station and back to the other then guests will queue up, pay the fee, and walk, at the level of the entrance, to the other station.
